The
Wings of Freedom Tour is a nationwide tour of significant historic
aircraft from World War II. The tour spans 120 cities in ten months
which is staffed by a team of full-time volunteer pilots, mechanics and
crews. The purpose of the tour is to offer visitors the opportunity
to see these historic aircraft in a hands-on setting outside of a museum
and to honor our WWII veterans by keeping them in the public eye.
