Total Airport Land Area: DuPage Airport offers 2,800 acres of property including a superior airfield, a championship-style golf course and a high-technology business park. 1,200 acres of our property is solely dedicated to airfield activities offering ample expansion opportunities and clear approaches to runways.

Development or Leasing Options: Companies have the option to negotiate a land lease or build-to-suit deal. The DuPage Airport Authority owns and governs all of its property, thus its land is tax-exempt. The only property tax that applies to the airport is the county/local “building” property tax. On Airport Authority property, privately owned buildings and leased buildings are assessed a leasehold tax. This assessment is calculated using a present value formula. The Authority will work with a lessee to create a balance between lease term, base rate and maintenance fees to minimize the tax implications.
