DuPage Airport is
home to over 450 aircraft, ranging from single-engine two-seat trainers to
light twins to twin turboprops to one of the largest corporate jet
aircraft, a Gulfstream IV. These based aircraft are either stored inside
hangars or tied down outside. Tie-downs and most hangars are also rented
on a month-to-month basis through the DuPage Airport Authority.
Since the
airport is surrounded with security fencing, access to hangars and
tie-downs is accomplished through man-gates and through electric sliding
vehicle gates. It is the renter's option to obtain vehicle gate
access. An electric gate opener, which requires a $50 refundable
deposit for each opener (similar to a garage door opener), is issued for
the electric vehicle gates.

DuPage
Airport tie-downs have the following features:

Tie-down
parking spaces are either drive-through or push-back style.

Each space has
three permanent metal anchors in the pavement.

Renters must
provide their own tie-down ropes.

Tie-down spaces
leased by DuPage Airport Authority are maintained by DuPage Airport
Authority Field Personnel.

Prices change
annually May 1st based on the Consumer Price Index.
