| 1-1 CREATION.
A Metropolitan Airport Authority was created pursuant to 70
ILCS 5/0.01, et seq., the
official name of which shall be the DuPAGE AIRPORT AUTHORITY.

FISCAL YEAR.
The fiscal year of the DuPage Airport Authority shall begin
on January 1 and shall end on December 31.

SEAL.
The Board of Commissioners shall adopt a seal as the
corporate seal of the DuPage Airport Authority.

BYLAWS.
The Board of Commissioners of the DuPage Airport Authority
shall adopt and maintain bylaws which the Board of Commissioners may
amend from time to time. A
copy of the current Bylaws are attached at Appendix 1-A.

MISSION.
It is the mission of the DuPage Airport Authority to provide
general aviation facilities and services to the suburban Chicago
area, including corporate aviation services, recreational aviation,
charter service, local commuter service and air cargo while
fostering aviation related businesses on the field and to develop
and lease or sell surplus vacant land in a manner compatible with
airport uses in order to generate significant long-term income
which, along with increased aviation related revenues, will
stimulate the local economy, provide for the creation of jobs, bring
outside revenues to local businesses, increase tax revenues for the
local communities and reduce the Airport's property tax levies until
the Airport is operated profitably without using revenues from
taxpayers.
