March Golf Tip
By Brian King of Prairie Landing Golf Club
The Head - To Move or Not to Move
One common mistake golfers make is they keep their head still during a swing.  Many golfers have been misinformed to keep their head down and eyes on the ball.  This will usually cause the body to be out of position and make the proper strike more difficult to execute.

Keep your chin slightly up, your eyes down and allow your head to swivel slightly away from the target on the backswing to allow the body to pivot properly.  The primary point that should be monitored is the top of the spine.  This is the part of the body that should stay steady and should not have excess lateral movement (away from the ball) or excess vertical movement (up and down).

If you would like more assistance in performing the proper pivot, please contact Brian King at bking@prairielanding.com or visit Brian's website.
